The life of a writer

Everyone wants to make it rich. We all have this great dream of living off our imagination. But, that fairy tale doesn't happen overnight, and at time never. But there is nothing wrong with having a 9 to 5 job and making an hourly wage. We all have to do what we need to in order to survive. The starving artist trope is horrible and detrimental to artists. You need to stay alive and you need to take care of your responsibilities, perhaps your work needs to take a backseat. But just think one day you can take care of everything with just your books. But for today, we need to be realistic and take care of what matters.
